The She Climbs Mountains community is invited to attend SPDT’s presentation of place/settings at The Southern Theater featuring Swimming to Cecile, a personal lamentation inspired by the loss of a mother. A solo figure at a microphone recites a monologue: "Where are you? I don't know where you're hiding. I just want to talk with you." Dedicated to Pimsler's mother, who died when he was 15, this trio of three women is a bittersweet tribute.
In order to further create community and connection, Stuart Pimsler will be offering a complimentary workshop that will provide She Climbs Mountains attendees the opportunity to share their stories of loss and discuss various aspects of Swimming to Cecile. The workshop will be held at the Ridgedale Library on Tuesday, April 7 from 7-9pm.
