Please join us as we gather to remember and celebrate holiday traditions that we once shared with our mothers. Bring a favorite appetizer or cookie/dessert to pass that evokes a special memory of your mother, or bring something you have incorporated into the holiday customs you have created. Beverages will be provided.
This year we will also be offering two fun activities during our party, including bingo with prizes and a craft! We are honored to partner with Rudolph’s Bluebird Houses, a local business owned by Kristy Boike and her father in memory of her mom who loved bluebirds. Each attendee will receive a bluebird ornament and will have the opportunity to decorate it during the gathering. Kristy will also be sharing about her children's book, Rise Up, Little Bluebirds, which will be offered for sale at the event ($20/book).
We look forward to connecting with you during this season that can evoke both joy and grief, with the goal of honoring what once was and celebrating what is now.
